EB-5 Development

Members of the firm also work in a non-legal capacity in development of EB-5 projects across the country. The projects involve construction of new commercial or residential structures or the rehabilitation of commercial buildings which need modernizing. On the development side, our primary goal is the security of our investors’ principal investment; indeed, we require all development partners agree to structure the pay-out so that investors are fully redeemed before any other equity-holders may profit at all. Investors in our projects have a track record of I-526 approvals, I-829 approvals, and the promptest redemption possible under EB-5 timing guidelines.

Geneva Ridge Resort & Lake Lawn Resort

In general, our projects involve building: hotels, senior living facilities, casinos, or residential structures. As of 2014, limited partner investors in Overseas Investor Funding, LP have not only begun the redemption of investments made in 2009 through 2011 – many now have already had their I-829 petitions approved and have permanent green cards, without conditions. Those investments have created jobs at: the Geneva Ridge Resort and Lake Lawn Resort in Walworth County, Wisconsin. In that project, 38 investors invested a total of $19 million and these investments created over 700 jobs.

Magnolia Bluffs Casino

Investors in Magnolia Bluffs Casino in Natchez, Mississippi have begun filing I-829 petitions for removal of conditions as of early 2014. The casino opened in December 2012 after EB-5 investors helped fund the rehabilitation of a previously-abandoned mill on the banks of the Mississippi River in cooperation with the Kentucky-based Premier Gaming Group. In 2013, the casino was named the overall winner of the Mid-West Steel Building Company 2012 Design Build competition.
